Marysville Pilchuck High School, Washington, (October 24, 2014; 5 dead; 1 injured) wasn’t enough.
Umpqua Community College, Oregon, (October 1 2015; 10 dead; 9 injured) wasn’t enough.

There are many, many more incidents than are listed above!
(Let’s not forget Las Vegas, 2017: 58 dead; 422 injured (over 400 more injured due to the panic that ensued).
There were 28 incidents in this year up through May — an average of more than five per month. (There were eleven incidents just in January of this year.) 8 dead. 40 injured.
