2022: It’s a Wrap

This is my last post of 2022. I’ll be picking up my little pal, Bentley, tomorrow and dog-sitting over the New Year’s weekend and maybe a little into the week. So, my annual look back and look forward posts will be a little late.

In the meantime, remember New Year’s Eve is amateur night, so best to stay at home and off the roads. Have a safe and happy New Year’s! Go forth and spread beauty and light!

Remember, you have at least another week of Chillaxmas!

    (So,… pace yourselves?)

2022, one for the record books or the trash bin?

Looks like Bentley will be with me until at least this coming Thursday. I won’t be around much until then.

In fact, she stayed with me until Friday afternoon. I’ve got a thing this evening (going to see Avatar 2 in 3D), and I’m not feeling much like writing, so maybe no post until at least Sunday, if not Monday (or whatever).

2022 is turning out to be hard to summarize. It just kinda was.

Hmmm… write the 2022 wrap up and 2023 look forward posts or curl up on the couch with the new Jack Reacher novel I’ve had on hold at the library since November 13 and which just became available! 🤔

    Tough call. 😐😏

BTW: Amazon’s third season of Jack Ryan (8 episodes), which came out recently, was pretty good. I enjoyed it more than I remember enjoying season two. I’m especially anticipating season two of Jack Reacher. 🤞🏼🙏🏼

That new Jack Reacher novel went by much too quickly. Now it’s a long wait for the next one (and probably a wait while it’s on hold).

Good read. I think this is the last one Lee worked with Andrew on. From now on, it looks like it’ll be Andrew at the helm. I can’t say I’ve really noticed much change. Reacher seemed to fight a bit less in this one, but I doubt that’s a trend. Just a change of pace. (I’m amazed they keep coming up with fairly unique situations for Reacher to get pulled into.)

And what do you think?
