The Earth.
Ever looping, ever spinning,
Passes a point.
Spring!
The Sun.
Ever higher, ever warmer,
Melts all the snow.
Spring!
The World.
Ever turning, ever changing,
Brings forth fresh life.
Spring!
Winter’s silence fades.
Birds sing, life renews.
A new year begins.
Spring!

Lovely, I want to go for a walk where that picture is. Doesn’t quite feel like spring here yet, spent 15 minutes trying to scrap the ice off the car this morning.

Perhaps, but today I…
Plus there’s that whole equinox thing. 😀
Winter’s hold may not be gone, but it does seem broken!

I really loved this post, I could feel you in it. You were retired and happy. You have the natural ability to relax and are doing it comfortably. Hope to hear of more little daily chores… this makes me feel you are doing A.O.K. Hugs, Robin

Thank you, Robin. Life can be hard or dark, but as long as one can find moments of joy, it helps pay for the rest. Or at least keep your sanity!

I really like the fact you were answering on my post, A-OK, while I come back to your post, and I had given you that in my comment. I had not planned on 3/20 to be writing about the use of o.k. as an abbreviation. Or did I? Twilight Zone music coming at you! I hope that you have a wonderful week, should be warmer and you are ready with the screens in place for warmer weather! Smiles, Robin

Ha! ‘Doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo…. For your consideration, a blogger, name of Robin. Little does she know she’s about to enter the A-OK Zone!’ Doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo…..

The days leading to spring were gorgeous but in typical Calgary fashion, it has been snowing and temps are below 0 since the first day of spring! Lovely poem Smitty!

Thank you, Lady Di! Weather moves from west to east, and I think we must be getting the first fringes of your snow and low temps. Woke up to a cloudy, gray, chilly day! No open windows today!! (Well, maybe just a crack… I do love fresh air.)

I love fresh air too but shut them all last night!
March 21st, 2014 at 10:02 am
Last night I was able to leave my bedroom window open just slightly (wonderful — especially love sleeping with fresh air), but tonight… maybe just a really tiny crack. (My heating bill for this winter is already absurd, so what the heck.)

Yes even in Canada the east seems to make people pay through the nose for heating and electricity. My poor parents get horrifically high bills!

New picture! I like!

Thanks Smitty – the other one looked liked I had an attitude problem with a touch of superiority LOL !(which I sometimes do, but there’s no need to advertise it!)

Well I never got that impression!
