For long-time followers of the comic, the situation isn’t new, but the ten-year anniversary is cause for celebration.

Just had a really nice lunch with a really good friend — a rare foray out of (what is for now self-imposed) lockdown — and this makes for a nice dessert. It has absolutely nothing to do with me, but I’m so happy for them!

FWIW, xkcd is the only web comic I follow. Every other site is so ad-bloated that I just won’t bother. (For example, all the damn ads, and horrific load times, kicked me off the SMBC site ages ago.)
