Thank you! It was more of a metaphorical thing (although the pix are from real fishing trips, and they were always a blast). I’ve been blogging in high-gear lately, and I realized I needed to ease off.
The new job kicks into gear tomorrow (I took last Thurs, Fri and this Mon off), so blogging will drop off a bit now I expect. I’d hoped to use this time off to get more future posts written but after over a month of posting daily, I found I’m a bit burned out! I haven’t done this much writing in a long time!

I managed to write every day for almost 3 months when I wasn’t working until I knocked it down to 2 posts per week even before I started working! So yeah if you need to back off you should figure out what works for you.

Still, three months is impressive even with a few skips. I’m thinking that two per week you mentioned sounds good right now!

How about under your “Writing” category, you could insert “Bubble Brain” the opposite of what you have now. Give me time…I’ll think of more.

It might read like nonsense, but it’s actually a pretty carefully crafted bit of pith and meaning. Structurally and rhythmically I’m actually kind of proud of it. I thought it turned out way better than most of my (rather lame) attempts at poetry.
