Merry Christmas 2019

The Solstice has passed, but Christmas Day is tomorrow, and New Year’s Eve lies just ahead. Another year behind, and 2020 awaits. May it be a good one for you and yours!

My small annual gift, here’s a little Christmas Music for you:

We’ll start with something fun: Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers with “Strangest Christmas Yet” (the official video):

I remember when Steve Martin was just starting out as a stand-up comedian. Remember the arrow through the head?

Funny how he’s become a premiere banjo player (but the banjo was always part of his act). I gotta say, his music has given me a whole new appreciation for the instrument.

I linked to this one earlier this month, but it’s worth including again (today of all days). Alison Krauss singing the Wexford Carol with Yo-Yo Ma on cello.

One of the best things about life (by far) is music!
