Happiness is no writing errors?

Abso! I always get a little rush when I click the spell-check button and that little dialog pops up! (Only counts the first time you spell check a new post.) It doesn’t happen often, especially since I’m prone to creativity with English, but when it does it makes me happy.

Ok, so it’s one form of happiness?

Yep. Form #7153 (out of infinity).

Okay this was a good one that I could relate to! Still and all I probably have errors of one kind or another. Syntax, leaving a preposition at the end of a sentence… Glad you had a happy moment! Have a great weekend! TGIF! (well, almost)

Like I said to Alex, it doesn’t happen often, but it’s a nice thing when it does.
That whole thing about ending a sentence with a proposition? It’s not really true. I forget the source, but the rule comes from overly strict interpretation of grammar. In modern writing, it’s not considered a problem.
Have a great weekend yourself!

Man that preposition ending thing is riDICulous sometimes. I need to find that source that says it’s okay, because trying to restructure a sentence to NOT end with a preposition often results in a sentence far more awkward than just ending one with.

You and (supposedly) Mr. Churchill!
If you really want refs, my first goto is always Grammar Girl (who calls it one of the ten great grammar myths):

There’s also the Oxford dictionaries online (they say it’s a perfectly natural part of English):
